Display a clear title and subtitle that communicates the payment method.

Screen 2: Pay by Manual Bank Transfer

Provide clear instructions to the user, so they understand they need to copy each line of payment information into their banking app. To reduce manual errors, the copying process should be as simple as possible. We recommend adding small buttons next to each line that automatically copy the details. Most importantly, clearly highlight that the payment has a unique payment reference.

  • Suggested implementation:
    • Instant Payment Information: “Select ‘instant transfer’ in your bank app to avoid delays.”
    • Copy Payment Details: As shown on the screen above.
    • Payment Reference Information: “Add the unique payment reference to each payment, as a new one is generated every time.”

Screen 3: Success Screen

Once the user has clicked to say that they have made the transfer, present them with a clear screen that indicates the settlement speeds. This relies on the user having sent the funds.

Therefore, only credit the funds to the user when the status of paid is returned.

    • Subtitle: “When you send a transfer via SEPA Instant, your funds typically arrive in seconds. If not, it may take up to 2 business days.”
